This reference features Lange’s best color scheme. The white metal and black dial combination, commonly referred to as Darth, is the best variant in the 1815 Chronograph series. Powering this beauty is caliber L951.5, which features several upgrades over the original caliber, including an increased power reserve of up to 60 hours, a free sprung balance, and a reduced movement component count without sacrificing visual appeal, all while maintaining the same 39.5 mm case and 11 mm thickness.
This is one of the rare occasions where we can confidently say that the current generation of a reference is better than its predecessors, not only technically but also visually and in terms of wearability.
