The Breguet Tourbillon 3350/3357 remains, without a doubt, one of the most under appreciated timepieces available today. Renowned for its iconic design, the Breguet Tourbillon is one of the most celebrated references ever created by Daniel Roth. The original ref. 3350 was so well-regarded that Breguet made only minor adjustments over the years, preserving the essence of the original design. The ref. 3357, introduced in the late 1990s, remained in Breguet’s catalog until early this year.
The timepiece we’re offering here is a ref. 3357 in white gold. At first glance, it may seem identical to the 3350, and that’s because it nearly is. This particular watch is a transitional example, featuring the older dial (noticeably lacking the “SWISS GUILLOCHE MAIN” text at 3 o’clock) and the earlier caliber 558 (as opposed to the updated 558.1 used in the 3357) that were used in the 3350.
